Day 2 : Exploring Kota Bharu, Kelantan (Muzium Kraftangan)

Assalamualaikum and good morning!

The previous post is about Istana Jahar where all about adat istiadat warisan diraja Kelantan is shown. So, enough of the castle and palace thing. We all went to Perkampungan Kraftangan! It is just a few meters away from Istana Jahar. Few steps? Ahha. Actually, to be exact, we went to Masjid Muhammadi first to perform Zuhur prayer but then we were hungry as f*ck then Naim reminded us about our real motive going to KB. Hehehe yes visiting all the museums was not actually our real motive but we went to KB to try for Nasi Ulam Cikgu. Crazy! Yes, they have Nasi Ulam Cikgu in Pengkalan Chepa but we went there too often that we would like to try the best and Kedai Pilihan Pengguna awarded by KPDNKK. 

So, here we are!

Travelling all by ourselves is quite hard :( It is because we cannot even take the picture all of us. So, we asked the kind-hearted stranger to take our picture. Luckily, Kelantanese people are kind!

As soon as we get into the perkampungan, there are a few crafted souvenirs shops. We were amazed as the crafted ones were soooooooo beautiful!

The farther we went (perkampungan) , we met want we want! Restoren Nasi Ulam Cikgu! Waaaaaaaaaaaa so many people and we decided to go up to museum first. The restaurant is crowded since it was in the afternoon and opened from 11 AM - 6 PM(?) . So, we found our own excitement in the museum ...

This dress is beautiful and we were all keep saying and wishing that it would be our wedding dress soon. hahahaha typical girls' talk. Everyone was wishing that it was their dress. hahaha the dress is worn by the queen in an event.

The museum actually placed many old things for mencanting batik, menenun songket and how old folks do the creative arts. They even displayed the equipments of those things. Guess whatttt? According to the old folks, if a girl / lady don't know how to menenun songket and finish reading Al-Quran, she cannot get married! LOL~~

So, we finished the visit with eating at Nasi Ulam Cikgu! Yeay, but since we were late a bit, there were no more ayam goreng or ikan goreng which were as big as our fists and arms. Quite disappointed but then it is fair enough as we were going to eat dinner as well at medan selera hahaha! BIG EATER we are!
